[su_spoiler title=”What sought of water supply is required?”]A good supply of potable water is required either by a reticulated town supply, water tank or bulk water truck. We have a pump to get water from tanks.

Showers use a large amount of water (on average 30lts/shower) so depending on numbers, showering wild determine the amount of water required.[/su_spoiler]

[su_spoiler title=”How much power do we need?”]Generally a 10 or 15 amp single phase power outlet is required for each facility and need to be within 30m of the facility.

If using a generators, then a 10kVa is required for 1 x Trailer and 25kVa for 2 or 3 Trailers located together. All generators used for overnight events must be ‘silent pack’ type.[/su_spoiler]

[su_spoiler title=”What happens to the waste?”]Waste from the toilet trailer is contained within the onboard waste tank and is required to be disposed of before leaving site. This can be either emptying into the sewer on site or engaging the services of a commercial pump truck contractor (event organizers responsibility)

Shower water can go either into the sewer, to ground or into waste tanks for disposal at a later date. Remember that there is a large quantity of water to be disposed of.[/su_spoiler]

[su_spoiler title=”How many toilets do I need?”]

The number of toilets to be provided will depend on a number of factors including:

  • Anticipated crowd numbers;
  • The sex of Patrons (women require more facilities than men);
  • If alcohol will be available; and
  • The duration of the event

If exisiting facilities are not adequate, additional portable units must be made available. The Australian Emergency Manual recommends the following guide:
